Spy x Family Season 2 Episode #8 kicks off with Yor and her clients trying to get into the hold to seize the distressed ship. Unfortunately, Yor senses that the assassins are blocking the way and decides to use the service corridor to get on board. One of the assassins who picked up their scents earlier manages to pinpoint them and the battle royale begins once Yor and her clients reach the spot where the fireworks started.

Yor quickly finds himself surrounded by assassins, but luckily the Director swoops in to take out the sniper while pointing to a hatch nearby. With the clients safely tucked away in the hatch, Yor and the Director engage in a bloody battle against countless assassins. Elsewhere, Anya enjoys fireworks with Lloyd and the other passengers aboard the ship, suggesting a developing bond between the Forger family.

Only three assassins remain, which Yor quickly learns are far more powerful than any she's faced so far. The swordsman quickly corners Yor as she feels the exhaustion of the battle catching up with her. Eager to continue protecting Yuri, Loid, and Anya, Yor overpowers the swordsman, breaking his blade with her bare hand and experiencing one of Yor's toughest moments in the series.

Meanwhile, Yuri collapses from exhaustion from a cold while chasing the suspect. As he rests, he remembers how Yor took care of him when he was sick, when they were younger, going so far as to fight boars and gather ingredients to make him herbal tea. Despite the tea's strange taste, Yuri finds that even as an adult, she still craves Yoro's tea.

Episode 2 of Spy x Family is titled "The Hand That Joins the Future" and will likely conclude Yor's fight against the remaining assassins, including the swordsman. This means that Yor's clients and the ship as a whole may not be out of danger just yet, as the informant has yet to be arrested and seems to have more tricks up his sleeve.

The preview suggests that Yor and her Garden allies may have to deal with a hidden bomb aboard the ship. Luckily for them, Anya's psychic abilities would be perfect in such a situation, so maybe fans will see Anya discreetly lend Yor a helping hand. However, the upcoming episode of Spy x Family is sure to be just as exciting and entertaining as the previous outings.
