Episode 9 begins with Loid sensing something suspicious on the ship, so he leaves Anya at the daycare. He comes out in disguise and helps the ship's personnel disarm the bomb.

When he does, Anya escapes from the nursery and helps Yor. This helps Yor win her battle as Anya runs away. Loid also disarmed the bomb, but others are on the ship.

Anya manages to hear the killer's thoughts and manages to inform the staff about the location of the bomb. But since there is no time to disarm her, Loid throws the bomb into the ocean.

Yor has now been given a day off which she recommends to spend with her family.
