The midterm exam is over. Concerned about Anya's performance on the exam, Loid goes to Eden College to change her answers. There he finds an obviously suspicious man who is about to infiltrate the school as well

UNCLE PRIVATE LECTURER

Henry Henderson announces to the students that their mid-term exams are in two weeks. He says the top two students in each subject will receive a Stella Star, while students who fail the exam will receive a Tonitrus Bolt for each failed exam. Henry goes ahead and returns their history quizzes from the day before and is disappointed to show Anya her 13% grade and tells her to stay after class for tutoring. Meanwhile, Damian scored 91%, bragging to Anye, much to her irritation. In remedial class, Anya realizes that she should read Damian's mind the next time she takes history quizzes and tests, and starts laughing to herself, upsetting Henry, who gives her more homework.

On the bus ride home, Anya notices a full moon and begins to panic. Anya rushes home and asks Lloyd what phase the moon will be in two weeks, to which he replies the new moon. Anya is shocked by this as her power will not work on the day of the new moon due to her weakness known as "Eclipsing", which means she will not be able to cheat during the exam. Anya tries to get Bond to show her the test questions from the future, but instead he sees her late night dinner. Distracted, Anya forgets her worries for the rest of the night, then wakes up the next day anxious to find she hasn't studied yet.

Loid tries to help her with her studies but ends up making no progress as Anya can't focus when his mind is so chatty. Yor then remembers that Yuri offered to help Anya with her studies, so they call him. Yuri arrives seconds later and is introduced to his niece. Anya attempts to read his mind and is stunned by his thoughts on Yor. As Loid and Yuri talk about the recent peace talks, Anya reads their minds and is excited about their secret identities. Loid leaves to run some errands, but not before telling Anya that she and Yuri should start studying.

Yuri begins by giving his complex problems to solve, which Anya does by reading his mind, surprising both him and Yora. Yuri questions why Anya even needs to study, who, after remembering her Eclipse, tells Yuri that it was dumb luck, which he hesitantly accepts. She tries to study again, but Yuri gets upset when she realizes that she is not that bright. However, when Yor asks Yuri for help and Anya exaggerates her love for her, Yuri becomes kinder with her criticism.

They both continue their studies, but after running into obstacles, Yuri questions if Anya likes to study. Anya questions him right after she says she hates it, to which he replies that he studied hard to take care of Yoro. Yuri explains to Anya that "knowledge is power" and if she studies, she can be or do anything she wants. Anya is confused when Yuri tells her that the study covers the "whole enchilada" and mishears it as "bloated chihuahua". Nevertheless, she is very enthusiastic about the study concept and both continue their work intensively. After a grueling study session, Yuri asks if Anya has mastered grammar yet, to which Anya asks what it is.

Feeling that he had just wasted his time, Yuri angrily ran out of the house. As he leaves, Yuri realizes that he is the one who should be studying and that he doesn't have enough "power". Yuri believes that if he had more knowledge, he could have captured Twilight during the terrorist incident and is still powerless to protect his sister or the country. However, he goes back inside for a brief moment to eat all of the snacks Yor just made, yelling again how good it is while eating and throwing up.

Anya ponders the idea that if she was smarter, she could have disarmed the bomb herself during the terrorist incident. He decides to go to his room to study the notebook. When Loid returns home, Yor tells him how hard Anya has been studying. After taking the notebook that Anya was working on, he discovers that it is a subject that is not one of her midterm subjects. The speechless Loid chuckles to himself, thinking that Operation Strix may very well be doomed. Two weeks later, the students of Eden Academy sit in the exam hall and prepare for their exams. Anya gives Becky a declaration of trust, which Becky doesn't understand, and Henry begins their midterm exams.

DAWN

After the exams, the three professors pass through the corridor to the safe in two boxes. They talked about how the first year students seemed to perform poorly before the vault tests were closed.

Twilight goes to Eden Academy, worried that Anya failed her exams. His goal is to change Anya's answers before they start grading the tests to prevent her from getting tonitrus. Twilight disguises herself as Mr. Viehmann, a professor at Eden Academy, and begins her infiltration. On the way to the vault, he spots a suspicious man heading in the same direction. The man is a spy who goes by the name "Daybreak" and is Twilight's self-proclaimed rival. His job is also to try to break into the vault. Hired for the job as his first real mission, Daybreak shows a lack of apprehension in carrying it out.

Dawn moves to the hall where the safe is, but is almost caught by some security. However, it is hidden by being held horizontally high above the ground on a signpost. He continues into the building but finds the door locked. Instead of trying to pick the lock as Twilight planned, Daybreak brazenly breaks the window on the door and unlocks it from the inside, shocking Twilight. Not wanting any unwanted attention, Twilight places a soccer ball next to the door to make it look like an accident caused by the soccer team.

In the lobby, Daybreak tries to pretend to be an information science professor, but he has no ID. ready to prove his identity to the constable. Twilight steps in to give him a fake ID. professor of information sciences. While handing him the ID, he is confused by Daybreak writing down the details of his mission on his hand. The order is to change the Desmond brothers' test answers, and Twilight suspects that Donovan Desmond hired Daybreak for the same goal as him.

After gaining access to the vault, Daybreak tries to enter the passcode, but fails. He pretends to leave and let Twilight do it for him. After opening the vault, Twilight is clumsily knocked to the ground and dragged inside the vault, where Daybreak alters Damian and Demetrius Desmond's test results and decides to reveal his name by signing the tests. Shocked, Twilight jumps up and yells that spies aren't supposed to leave tracks. Realizing he blew his cover, he quickly tries to cover his mistake. However, Daybreak, wanting to gain exposure, insists that Twilight tell everyone about him without telling anyone what he did. After Daybreak rolls around, Twilight reviews the tests and discovers that Daybreak changed the answers to give the brothers a failing score and was hired by a rival of the Desmonds. He needs their success in order for his mission to continue, so Twilight reverts the changes. He then checks Anya's tests and is surprised by what he sees.

Five days later, the interim results are published in the Quad. Damian and his gang search for his location and find him ranked 11th in the class. Not only that, Damian also placed in the top 2 in history with a score of 94, earning him a Stella Star. Meanwhile, Becky finds herself next at #46 looking for Anya's score. Becky finds out that Anya was ranked 213 out of 228 students and Damian tries to comfort her but fails as Anya is happy with her results as she read Lloyd's mind before and didn't get any Tonitrus bolts, she barely passed the tests. Although Anya is proud of this, Loid decides that he will have to be more strict about her studies. Still, he's surprised that Anya hasn't failed a single test, which he finds impressive by her standards, and reflects on how she's barely managed to keep Operation Strix alive. Anya reads his mind and smiles smugly. In response, Loid tells her to think about her grades and they'll see if she'll smile after studying them, much to her shock.

Meanwhile, Daybreak calls out that he failed his mission and is promptly fired to his dismay.
